Session terms
Terms & cancellation policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you book a session with Jason Goveia, trading as Two by Two. By booking, you agree to them. They're written to be fair and clear. If anything is unclear, just ask at hello [at] twobytwo [dot] me.
Booking and payment
- Online one-to-one sessions are paid in full when you book, through Stripe.
- Your booking is confirmed once payment is complete and you've chosen a time. You'll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Cancelling or rescheduling
- 24 hours' notice or more: you can reschedule free of charge, or cancel for a full refund.
- Less than 24 hours' notice: you can reschedule once, but the session fee isn't refundable.
- Missed sessions: if you don't attend without letting me know, the session counts as used.
- To reschedule, use the link in your confirmation email or email me.
- If I need to cancel, I'll offer you a new time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
- Under UK consumer law you can cancel within 14 days of booking. If your session falls within those 14 days, booking it means you ask me to start sooner, and the notice periods above then apply.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
Your health and safety
- Breathwork is a wellbeing practice. It is not medical or psychological treatment and doesn't replace care from your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist.
- Please check with your GP before booking if you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, high blood pressure, epilepsy or a history of seizures, recent surgery or injury, or severe mental illness such as psychosis.
- Tell me about any health conditions before your session, so I can adapt it for you.
- You're always in control. Stop or breathe normally at any time if you feel unwell, dizzy or uncomfortable.
- Never practise breath holds in or near water, while driving, or anywhere fainting could be dangerous.
Online sessions
- Join from a quiet, private space where you can sit or lie down safely, with a stable internet connection.
- Sessions aren't recorded.
- If my connection fails and we can't finish, I'll offer you a replacement session.
Responsibility
I take care to run every session safely. You take part voluntarily and are responsible for telling me about anything that affects your safety. Nothing in these terms limits my liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your information
How I handle your personal information is explained in the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be dealt with by the Scottish courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use the courts where you live.
